Travel through remote Andean landscapes on your ATV before reaching the entrance to Vinicunca. From there, enjoy a short walk to the main viewpoint, where the colorful mountain formations and surrounding peaks create one of the most memorable views in southern Peru.

Itinerary
Hotel Pick-Up and Transfer to Cusipata. Your adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco’s historic center between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. We will travel toward the district of Cusipata, where you will enjoy breakfast before continuing to our ATV base in Kayahuiri.
Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and receive important information about the route, weather conditions and safety procedures. Safety Briefing and ATV Practice
Before beginning the journey, your guide will explain how to operate the ATV safely.
You will participate in a short driving practice to become familiar with the controls. Previous ATV experience is not required. Once everyone is comfortable and ready, the adventure will begin. ATV Ride Through the Andes You will ride your ATV for approximately 45 minutes through breathtaking high-Andean landscapes. Along the route, enjoy views of open valleys, distant mountains and the dramatic natural scenery that surrounds Vinicunca.
The ATV ride will take you close to the main access point for Rainbow Mountain, reducing the amount of walking required compared with the traditional route.
Rainbow Mountain Viewpoint From the ATV parking area, you will begin a short hike to the main viewpoint of Rainbow Mountain.
At the summit area, you will have time to admire the colorful landscape, take photographs and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding Andes.
Your guide will provide information about the natural formation of the mountain, the local geography and the cultural importance of the region.
Return to Cusco
After visiting Rainbow Mountain, you will walk back to the ATV parking area and return by ATV to the base.
We will then travel back to Cusipata, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch.
After lunch, we will begin the return journey to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The tour concludes near the Plaza de Armas.

- * We recommend taking this tour only after spending at least one or two days acclimatizing in Cusco, as the experience takes place at more than 5,000 meters above sea level.
- * No previous ATV experience is required. Your guide will provide instructions, a safety demonstration and driving practice before departure.
- * Wear several layers of clothing, as temperatures can change considerably throughout the day.
- * Follow your guide’s instructions at all times and maintain a safe distance from other ATVs.
- * Drive carefully and avoid overtaking unless your guide authorizes it.
